I’ve been away for a while but have been very busy doing something very exciting!
We’ve had the usual tea time tears & tantrums – it goes without saying – but I’ve also been busy on a new project.
When I started writing the blog, It dawned on my that it’s all well & good realising meal planning was a big issue for me & a lot of mums out there, but what was I going to do about it?
So I took to the drawing board (or notepad!) & started writing meal plans & lots of them! Summer ones, winter ones, holiday ones where you have to feed the kids at lunchtimes too! 7 meal ideas a week is one thing, but throw in the summer holidays & the little ties need feeding in the day too!!
Writing them is the bain of my life. Normally I stick to it for a couple of weeks but then life just gets in the way & we end up back on fish fingers & chips! The kids don’t mind but it’s really not great when you’re trying to get in you 5 a day!
Now I’ve created the plans, I got on with creating a website. Why? Now you can have all of my meal plans too!
I’m not that nice that I’ll give them away but for a measly cost of £2.50 a month, you can have a weekly meal plan, recipes & a shopping list sent direct to your inbox every week! That way, you’ll always have you shopping list with you!
The meal plans include real meals. Food that you can actually make using ingredients you’ve heard of. That was something that used to bug me when I was looking on the internet for recipes. I’d find something that sounded lovely (& simple), only to find I didn’t know what a couple of the ingredients were!
